Morality has nothing to do with religion?

To those of you who think morality comes from, or requires religion, why do you think this??

Do you not believe that the human race has developed complex morals and values for our 200,000 year existence, before religions like Christianity and Islam??

In fact, religion is the one who creates morality in this day and age. To deny that religion is not involved in making laws in this country is to deny reality.

Religion, goes back as far as man does, however primitive that form may once have been. Since man is a social animal, man must have some kind of social law so that members of society benefit. Can you name one 200,000 year old culture of humanity that did not have moral values based upon some kind of spiritual principle?

God wrote His law on the hearts of all men and women including the first ones. The Bible simply codifies that reality.
