Japan vs N. Korea. They have a history of hundreds of years of conflict. If N. Korea misbehaves enough, Japan will take care of it. The U.S. won't need to get involved unless some other big players do.

Iran vs Whoever. Iran just wants to get in a fight with somebody. If they succeed in building the nukes as they threaten, Israel will probably take care of business. Iraq thought they could build a reactor. They learned the hard way. The Israelis took it out.

U.S. vs Mexico. History repeats itself sometimes. We now have problems with Mexican banditos bringing their violence across the border. As long as the U.S. insists on keeping certain popular substances illegal, there will be money to be made and people to kill for this money.
