Thread: Should anyone that conspires against Roland Burris be arrested immediately?

Should anyone that conspires against Roland Burris be arrested immediately? Including the President Elect? Nobody has any legal authority to not permit Roland Burris to be seated in the Senate. He is an honorable person and anyone that intends to impede him becoming Senator is either doing it due to Racial Discrimination or on ILLEGAL GROUNDS. The FBI should be watching this matter closely.

Nobody has the right to sell Obama's seat either. That's why Blago got into hot water.

After Gov Blago tried to sell the Senate seat ... any appointment he made to that office would fall under a cloud of suspicion.

Burris should refuse the office of Senator. To accept the office as an appointee of Gov Blago would seriously harm his future political career!

If Burris was smart, and he certainly seems to be, he wouldn't want the additional attention that being appointed to the office by Blago would bring. It would do him no good and there is an outstanding chance that it would harm his career by association!

If Burris is as smart as I think he is, he will request that his name be dropped from contention as an appointee. He can always run in the next election as a true candidate without the cloud of suspicion hanging over him.
