The Prophet of Allah (sallalahu alay wasalaam) said:

A man of the Ummayyads will take power in Egypt-and then his power will be taken from him-or snatched away from him, and he will run away to the Byzantiums (European Union) and enlist them against the people of Islam and this will be the first of the battles. (Tabarani)

Since this prophecy has not yet been fulfilled do you think it may apply to the current situation in Egypt where we have an old Mubarak who is desperate to pave the way into power of his playboy son Gamal.

Whats more interesting the Americans do not like Gamal and would prefer the succession to go to one of the iron generals of Mubarak. thats why he flees to the Europeans.

anyway the great news is that the ordinary Egyptians will have their prayers (duas) answered because they along with some internal organisation supporting them-will reject the rule of this unpopular ruler.

so the question is-could this be a prophecy about Gamal?
wendy, its a question for Muslims.

Anyway in order to answer your question just beacuse a prophecy has not happened does not make that prophecy false. However since youre a Christian i forgive your ignorance-in the meantime why dont you look into Jesus prophecy to his disciples telling them he will return to earth as second coming within their lifetimes but not coming at all even two thousand years later. please educate yourself on your own religion before you even begin to attempt to answer a question for muslims.
