Yes, I agree however we can have a dramatic rally for several weeks or even months. These rallies are what will really wipe out more fortunes because people will buy thinking the worst is over and then the bottom falls out and we make a new low. I think the Dow is going down below 6000 and maybe even below 5000 before all is said and done. This may take a few years and there will be bear market rallies along the way but we're going lower, MUCH lower.
Gold is where to be. You are 100% correct! I also like the Swiss Franc;-) Check out FXF on the NYSE. Low 80s is a good time to start accumulating. If it falls into the 70s then back up the truck and load up as much as possible.

I'm reminded of the phrase, Income should always be more than outgoing. If it isn't, sooner or later your money will run out.
