..is it a superstition or truth as it stated in the bible?
The Mayan calendar ends in 2012, though I'm not sure the bible says anything about it.
There are a couple of prevailing theories as to what will happen.
1. Nothing.
2. The polarity of the earth's magnetic poles will reverse, causing radical climate change.
3. Astral events affecting the planetary tides will cause the Yucatan peninsula to be swallowed by the ocean. Not necessarily the end of the world, but the end of what the Mayans knew of the world.
somethings going to happen,i cant see it tho.lol
There is no way to tell.
Prediction in the past have came true... who's to tell this one won't
Even if nothing is going to happen.. but our global consciousness thinks it's going to happen.... it will..
2012 calendar ending is due to our solar system lining up with the galactic equator.
The prediction may be true. That doesn't mean the world will end. And hey if it does the only thing we can do is die. No worries.
didnt anyone ever think that the mayans just got a little lazy and said "hey screw this, lets not go any further." how can one group of people predict whats going to happen to the world? its superstition. people want to believe everything will end because they want something interesting to think about the future. its like when every one thought something crazy was going to happen at the start of the millenium.
My calendar on my fridge ends on December 31st, 2009 - doesn't mean the world ends. Just means it's time to buy a new calendar. The Mayans probably had a 2013 calendar laying around somewhere that no one has found yet.
you have to ask god that question
it will happen someday unfotunately maybe 2morrow
or maybe in3000
no1 knows but him?!~
The alleged end of time in 2012 is nothing more than a half-educated distortion of Mayan prophecy; it has nothing to do with the Bible whatsoever.
You are for more likely to die due to a wide-body jet landing on you while driving on the interstate than you are in the over-hyped 2012 crap.
