First off, whether you think the warming is natural or man-made is irrelevant here. And even if you are among those dying few who feel the planet is not really warming at all, you can still chime in.

Hypothetically, what sort of ideas could be put into place to help humanity adapt to a warmer world? It is conceivable we may be looking at 2-3 C rises in temperature over the next 100 years; this is much more than it sounds, if you consider we were just about this same magnitude COLDER during the last ice age, which caused much of North America, Europe and Asia to be covered with miles-thick sheets of ice.

So what kind of ideas do you have for solving the problem? Mirrors in space to reflect sunlight? Seeding the stratosphere with sulfur to stimulate global dimming? Artificial clouds?

Or should we just bite the bullet and ride it out? In this case we would have to consider sea-level rises of (potentially) 30 or more feet, desertification (though perhaps not, if rain patterns behave), disease spread, heat stroke deaths, etc.
