I really hope that its Kate's year and if anyone deserves their awards its Mickey Rourke for his exceptional job in The Wrestler, it seriously didn't even seem like acting to me and Heath Ledger, he took the Joker from funny to SCARY!!! I cant wait to see what happens this Sunday!!

Althought the toughest race is the Best actor and actress. It could easily be Sean Pean. He is actually the favorite. And Meryl Streep could take it down.

Very close race in many categories this year, except picture, director, and adapted screenplay.

Movie: Slumdog Millionaire. Tough I want Frost/Nixon to win. I love Danny Boyle's films, but this is the one I liked the least. I think it was too overhyped.

Director: Danny Boyle

Actress: Kate Winslet. Finally!

Actor: Sean Penn. But I would like to see Mickey Rourke win. Or any of the other nominees. I like it when someone who has not won before takes the prize.

Supporting actress: Penelope Cruz. Though I wouldn't mind seeing any of these ladies win. They were all amazing. Even Marisa Tomei, who has won before.

Supporting actor: Well, it's going to go to Heath Ledger. We all know that. And it is sadly because he passed away. With this I'm not saying his performance wasn't short of brilliance, but we all know he would've received the same treatment Nolan and The Dark Knight received if he was alive: he would've been snubbed. (yes, I'm bracing myself for the thumbs down, but that's what I think).

Anyway, I would like to see Josh Brolin or Robert Downey Jr. win.
