in the near future a ? spaceship, let's say the Space Survey Ship *Bertrand Russell* were to drop off a china teapot, leaving it in orbit between Earth and Mars, what would that do to my de facto atheism?

Since I had been agnostic about the existence of Russell's teapot, using that as my benchmark of extreme agnosticism. I had rated God's chances of existence as equal.

Now that Russell's teapot exists, does God suddenly exist? Or does my belief in God suddenly exist?

Should I just stop thinking? (Yeah, I'm leaving myself wide open with that one...)

Comments? Insights? Logical deconstruction?
I could read some Douglas Adams (again), but his benchmark for agnosticism is "Faeries at the bottom of my garden". Both bechmarks are referred to by Dawkins. Although I came across the teapot long, long ago.
