    Navigation in the future?

I am doing an IT project on navigation in the future. I need some ideas on what it will be like in a few years time. BEST ANSWER GETS 10 POINTS

look at current aircraft navigation systems. they tend to lead the way.

I can imagine that as GPS systems get more advanced they will be connected to a network (by phone or internet?) which will avoid areas of traffic jams and high density traffic.

the real back to the future system will actually take control of the vehicle and drive you where you tell it
