Today I really noticed that I am "knock kneed", meaning my knees are misaligned and seem to have an inward cant.

I'm 23, I have no knee pain or pain when I walk. I do then to step on the inward part of my heels than straight on the back, but I can correct this by exerting the muscles to correct this.

Will I need knee surgery in the future? Can exercise correct this? Will the condition remain static, or worsen?
