Are Krispy Kreme donuts a conspiracy?? What exactly is so good about them?

I really don't like krispy kreme donuts. They're caked with hard glaze and are soooo sweet it literally makes my teeth hurt. I prefer more soft "cake" to my donut.

I can gag down one if it's fresh and hot... but they are just so sweet. There were a craze years ago.... then made a come back. They opened one in my town, but it closed last year. I think the fad is fading again...

See, see, see you all NOT getting them when the HOT Doughnuts Sign is lit. You Have to Eat them while they are hot. (ok a quick run through the micro suffices sometimes, too). Melt in your mouth, not greasy like other doughnuts, light,no doughy or cakey like others. Okay I agree too sweet but a little splurge once in a while. a glass a milk to "cut" the sweetness. sucicidal with a cup of chocolate milk.
