Here is a few to be getting on with
There are in fact over 150 prophesies concerning the messiah
According to Daniel chapter 9 the messiah would appear in the 2nd quarter of the 1st century.
Daniel 9v24-27
There are seventy weeks that have been determined upon your people and upon your holy city, in order to terminate the transgression, and to finish off sin, and to make atonement for error, and to bring in righteousness for times indefinite, and to imprint a seal upon vision and prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. 25*And you should know and have the insight [that] from the going forth of [the] word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Mes?si?ah [the] Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks. She will return and be actually rebuilt, with a public square and moat, but in the straits of the times.
26*“And after the sixty-two weeks Mes?si?ah will be cut off, with nothing for himself.
“And the city and the holy place the people of a leader that is coming will bring to their ruin. And the end of it will be by the flood. And until [the] end there will be war; what is decided upon is desolations.
27*“And he must keep [the] covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease.
Jerusalem was rebuilt in 455. The 69 weeks amount to 483 years count from 455 comes down to 29ce which is the year jesus started his 3.50 year ministry.
Unfortunately for the Jewish nation they missed the messiah.
dont worry the jews are just now catching up
HE
ROSE
Well, he said "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword"
That came true.
There has never been ANY OT prophecies identified as referring to Jesus in any way. Taken out of context, some verses can seem to be referring to Jesus, but in context it's clear that they refer to someone else.
Read the Bible silly little person And go to church you seek answers there not on here now run along there's a good fellow
He also did not fulfill the prophecy that all weapons would be destroyed for a period of seven years.
This was one of the reasons that the early christians insist on a second coming, ie, since Jesus wasn't able to do it the first time and (on their axiom) he was the mosiach (messiah) then he should get a second shot.
Funny thing is that we are still waiting.
Jesus didn't fulfill any of the messianic prophecies in the Tanakh. Therefore, Jesus wasn't the Messiah. I don't know what the Crucifixion has to do with anything. Furthermore, the Messiah is supposed to be simply a holy man chosen by G-d; when Jesus said he WAS G-d, that was heresy of the highest order. Remember, in Judaism G-d is One.
