YES, the internet comes from the future. It will actually be invented many years from now, in the year 2142. By then, humans will have discovered time travel, thanks to our alien friends that help us with new technologies.

In an effort to try and "beat" the aliens to the internet technology, humans use their time travel knowledge, and transport back to the 1960's to implement the internet then.

Humans do this in hopes that because of the internet, we will develop time travel technology quicker than the aliens did, and change the course of our history (or future).
