...that mean? That when he "made" us he already had judged that we were sinners. So pretty much before he made us he decided that we were going to be tortured for eternity. And this is the guy who's supposed to love us?

I know were you are coming from! But it's a matter of 'freewill' that was God's wish for us to decide whether to love him or not. Why create someone and then force that person to love you?

God loves us, it's up to us if we want to love him back and by that he means to follow Jesus.
