Yes well we did, but now that we haven't worked in over 3 months our savings went toward bills....I think we are going to loose our house, scared...someone say something positive. I as with my husband have NO where to go. Is anything getting better out there? Of course we have worked all our lives, helped other through taxes now that we need help, piss on us huh?

Most people are only one pay check away from losing everything.

Contact your social services office. There are still options:
You can get food stamps and cash aid if there are minor children in your household.

What about your unemployment benefits? See whether you can file for an extension and for utility bills, etc. there is always the Salvation Army and the Goodwill.

The foreclosure process is very longwinded... it will take many months before you need to leave your house and who knows... you could land a job tomorrow and things could get better again.

Sounds like you need to find a job. Any job. Nothing is beneath you at this point. And if you do find something, save as much as you can. As you're now finding, depending on the government is a bad idea. In the future, vote for those who promise to drop your taxes rather than raise them.
