    Hyper-Political Correctness destroyng my future?

I wrote a book about my youth, though one publishers wife send a letter saying, "I couldn't put it down." (four weeks after her husband send the rejection letter), I can,t get my book published because (apparently) my youth wasn't politically correct.

Or maybe there is something deeply offensive in your book. Crying about "political correctness" is what people usually do when they are stomping around demanding the right to be hurtful offensive jerks. I'm not saying you are doing this--I haven't seen any evidence of that. That's just usually the pattern. I am automatically mistrustful of people who complain about political correctness because most people who do it are bigots who hate to apologize or be told that they are wrong or that other people's feelings matter. maybe people could help you more if we knew what was so "politically incorrect" about your book.
