Thread: How many so called 'biblical fulfilled prophecy's' are just coincidence?

Like the one where it said that Israel would return as a nation. That had a lot of bible thumpers spooked, and it probably even excited some of them, eager and nihilistic as they are to see the end of days. But surely that was either inevitable or a self fulfilled prophecy. The bible said that eventually the world will erupt into mass chaos before the end times. Given our power seeking human nature I think that was an easy thing to predict as well. There doesn't seem to be anything that convincing in biblical prophecy.

The prophecy of Israel returning into a nation again is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I mean I don't know any other prophecies that have even come true.

No fulfilled prophecies are coincidence.

Name ONE nation, other than Israel, whose people have been scattered to every nation on earth, but yet maintained their heritage, culture and language in each of those nations in which they lived rather than be absorbed into those cultures. If you study history, you would know that there is no other nation like this EXCEPT ISRAEL!

I have beliefs in my own way and some times this makes me question or wonder about things. One minute I believe, the next I am a Doubting Thomas. Am I confused, probably so. Is there any Prophecy that has actually been fulfilled? I don't have any idea. How does Biblical Times correlate with Society today would be the question in my mind. What affects does it have or have right now.

Most of the so called biblical prophecy's were written after the fact. That is why they stop at a certain occurrence

Prophecies are made up things that sometimes come true just because shlt happens in the world. Christians like to claim that those that haven't come to pass yet will. Given infinite time, probably anything a person could pull out of his as*s could come true, but how would anyone ever know?
