Jesus prophesied that the Temple would be destroyed and it was we have PROOF it was destroyed before our eyes we know it happened in 70 A.D. and his prophecy was true. Does this not validate the Bible and Jesus as being true?
ALSO Did you know the first gospel account (Gospel of Luke) was actually recorded while Jesus was alive but was not transcribed as a full text until around 50-60 AD. That's less than 20 years after the crucifixion of Christ and before 70 AD.
and this prophecy was recorded in Luke
Time line: Between AD 37 and AD 70
Some scholars have posited earlier dates for Luke's composition. Arguments for a date between AD 37 and AD 61 for the Gospel, note that Luke is addressed to "Most Excellent Theophilus," almost certainly a reference to the Roman-imposed High Priest of Israel between AD 37 and AD 41, Theophilus ben Ananus. This reference would date the original copy of Luke to within 4 to 8 years after the death of Jesus. [From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]
the Temple wasn't destroyed till years later.
Luke 21: 5 And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6"As for these things that you see,( the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down."
and
In Matthew 24:1-2, and in Luke 21: 5-6 Jesus says that the Temple would be destroyed and that not one stone would be left standing on top of another. Ancient historians have described the Temple as a massive stone structure. Josephus claimed that some of the stones were about 37-feet long, 12-feet high, and 18-feet wide. (In meters, that's about 12-by-4-by-6). The Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD. The Temple's destruction was so complete that today people can only speculate as to its precise location on the Temple mount in Jerusalem.
There are many fulfilled prophecies but I chose this one because it is one with evidence we can see to date the Temple destruction.
