He got a shotgun to the chest in season 2 and healed! 2 bullets towards the chest is nothing! Even Sylar who got shot by 2 agents towards the chest and still manage to live.

HEROES.. How did Future Peter die so easily? Since he has the regeneration ability?

It's easy his not dead. the haitian suppresed his regeneration when he was shoot so he couldent heal him self up. And while the haitian suppresed his healing power they operated in some object in that spot in the back of the head that stops that power.
so hes not dead only afk :P just like clair was when she got that branch in her head
thats how i see it anyway
