Thread: Has Watchtower made prophecies which never came true?

I am reading a book which says the Jehovah's witnesses made prophecies many times which were false. Its two early leaders called Russell and Rutherford appear to have been unusual people?

How about when they tried 3 or 4 times to predict the second coming?

Never heard of one that did... that they could prove any way

A bunch of them, but they have answers for why. Those answers don't float with me....neither do any of the prophecies of other denominations. My pastor said 20 years ago "Anytime someone tells me they hear God speak (audibly) the person and their prediction is insane"

they don,t make them- they interpret , like other religions and none are perfect
