Back in the mid/early 20th century, what did people think the year 2000 would be like? I'm sort of curious to know how the past predicted the present. Like how nowadays some people guess what sort of technology, fashion, medicine, etc we'll have in a hundred years. What did you older folk predict for the year 2000?
