Thread: Future Careers, What do I take for my options?

Okay, I have 2 options this year... and i don't know what I want to take up. For the careers I want to do, I don't need ACADEMIC Subjects!!

So here's what I want to work in:
- Zoo
- Hairdressing
- Catering

Can You tell me what I need to take up, for any one if not each one, this is a huge help!

Perhaps you could ask your self why you have chosen each of the career moves and what within the areas do you see yourself doing, for example in the zoo, are you looking to work as an animal carer, vet, or another of the many positions in there, in catering would that be working in a cafe, pub, hotel, as a chef or something different?

Look closely at each of the 3 chosen careers, can you see yourself doing that when you are 50-60 year old?

Write down at least 10 pro's and cons for each.

If you would like to specialise in time, in what way could you become an expert or have career progression.

The best career to take up is one that you are passionate about, and one which you still will want to do when it is cold wet, you dont feel too great.
