Everyone: what are your predictions should this 700 Billion be given to wall street?

I'm against the bailout but since it seems it's going to happen no matter what I hope they spend it wisely, spend conservitavly and the economy starts to gain some life within a few months, possibly making this healthy country again within 18 , that's REALLY what I hope.

I think that money will be burnt within a year, the military isn't going to get it's budget cut, all local governments will cut on spending and gas will be over 4.50 by December 2009.

imback_missme - you're absolutely beautiful... good luck with everything !

Some people are. I YES to the Bailouts if they bail out those whom have suffered the most, the 95% who hold 5% of the nation's wealth.

I am for Bailouts. Let the amount be increased to $70 Trillion usd and distributed as working stimulus package to every USA citizen. That is almost $250,000.

The PEOPLE can pool parts of their moneys and make their own non-corrupt institutions. Maybe even bring the criminals to justice and get to the real truth behind the crimes which actually amount to treason.

Sharing is caring. That would be a working stimulus package that really works.

The same mentality that would bail out the wrongdoers is not different than the mentality that would plan an attack or cooperate directly with those whom would do such deeds.

    Follow the money.

The only thing that will happen is that its going to keep money in their pockets and make them feel more comfortable that they can continue living their lavish lives. As for us we will be taxed more and struggle even harder until crap settles out. If the Solution was to affect them then they might have to fire the person that cuts the crust of their bread and we just cant have that can we?

Honestly, and I know this stand is not Popular, But I would trust this government with oversight in this situation rather than the Capitalist Pigs whose never ending GREED played such a huge role in this mess in the FIRST place.

this bailout goes through prepare to be a tax slave for the rest of your life. This bailout will only prolong the inevitable and saves the rich once again while the rest of us pay for their greed. If this isnt socialism, then what would you call it?
Make no mistake, the End Game is almost complete.

First they planned and drew up plans to invade Iraq and Afghanistan

Second they let happen/created a terrorist attack to get special powers over the Constitution and people by the formation of a World monitoring structure while attached to the Military Industrial Complex

Third - they planned and executed this entire collapse of the American loan and banking debt system for the purpose of handing the entire monetary and loan system of our Nation over to the privately owned Federal Reserve.

The fourth step is coming - Food control and rationing along with free trips to the FEMA camps for dissenters in time of declared Martial Law.

The goal of all of this is to get one step closer to a one World currency by using a bailout system with Canada and Mexico in the so-called conspiracy called "The North American Union". They created the collapse and now act and look like our saviors.

From there you have the Amero - and the Euro!

All national leaders involved will then agree that it is in the best interest of all World citizens to join those two currencies together creating one currency.

Its all about the wealth and power and nothing about our security from terror or financial collapse!

We patriots have been warning about this for 7 years and it was denied - but - here it is and in your face.

I predict the economy will collapse reguardless of the bailout, that is only a temporary bandaid, Bush will claim economic disaster so the elections will be postponed, people will freak out so Bush will put the Patriot Act into force and start taking protestors and homeless to the FEMA concentration camps and label them terrorist........ OK, enough, Im getting depressed!

They should do it the same way the superfund was set up to clean up environmentally contaminated land, brooks, lakes, etc. Whoever made a specific mess coughed up the dollars.

The Wall Street guys, bankers, etc who made the mess should cough up.....period

My two year old granddaughter should not!
