TO EMPEROR : Merchants, invading armies, royal barges, pleasure cruisers, etc, etc, etc roamed whole world in all centuries, yet you do not find gold everywhere, its not that they were so foolish to not take care of those most precious asset of those times

AND if you ask a Archealogist OR a Historian, he will say you that those sites were 'hidden' uptill now. - people of Medival times/Middle ages didn't knew it else think if people in Medival times knew about those sites of Ancient times and the gold under water, why would they not go down and take out the gold (which are worth billions of dollars as you said) instead of fighting for power with other countries? see the History of Turkey, Persian Gulf, Iraq, Antolia and the kingdoms of there Mediaval times - ruled by so many empires both old and modern - Why Mediaval/Middle ages/Modern times kingdoms of those sites didnt knew about the gold of Ancient times? don't forget Medival, Middle, Modern and Ancient times have different history

What I mean is 'PEOPLE DIDN'T KNEW ABOUT GOLD INSIDE EUPHRATES 1,400 years ago - so the Prophecy about getting treasures of gold in the river Euphrates is not a 'guess'.

Yes, right now we seen so many movies like mummy returns, read so many books, have so much informations, this and that that we have a gist of those places and so we think people in the olden times also have the same mindset-mentality-gist of those places. NO - olden times were different

The prophecy was fulfilled in the days when the Jews were slaves in Babylon...on the Euphrates...
The river was diverted by the King Cyrus, and his army was abvle to enter the city by an unguarded gate in the wall exposed by the lack of water...
Cyrus killed many inhabitants and freed the Jews...who had been 70 years in captivity... and he allowed them to go back to Israel...

Gold is an incorruptible metal. It doesn't corrode so doesn't vanish anywhere when most of the rest of its surroundings will rot to nothing.

I would wager that the Euphrates has any number of remains of ancient sunken ships carrying gold and treasures and that people have been finding them occasionally for centuries. Making a prophesy that more will turn up is like making a prophesy that there will be a thunderstorm again one day. Rivers running dry are also a reoccurring feature in traditional stories and myths.

There's probably billions of dollars in bouillon down there.
