Thread: Did the heart rate gender prediction method work for you?

I have heard several people say this, and I was just curious if it worked for you guys? What was your baby's heart rate averaging and what was the sex of the baby?

no, my son's was always in the high 160s or low 170s. i'm pregnant with my 2nd now and the last time i went to the dr, the heart rate was around 170 so hoping it works this time! i want a girl!!

My daughter averaged 160 and my son averaged 140, so it did work for me. But I know some people that it didn't work for. It is just an old wives tale.

Nope. Hasn't worked with either of mine nor my sister's pregnancy.

My daughter's was consistantly about 120-130 and my son's has been in the 160's so far, a few weeks he was 170.
