Christians, are you praying for the upcoming election and future direction

of our country? If not, would you seriously consider praying for America and her choice daily for the next 6.5 days?
    ThatDead...,

Actually, God can move people's hearts and do it in such a way that man's free will is not comprimised.

    Uncle Thesis,
A God who doesn't take sides is totally irrelevant and Him making covenant with people would be a total piece of fiction!

Your question is contradictory. If god maintains free will, then it cannot affect the choices of the voters of your country. So, do you believe in prayer, or free will? I'm not so sure there's a difference between moving people's hearts and affecting free will. I mean, if god made you hungry, you'd eat. You may not be being forced to do so, but is there really a difference when you don't realise that you're being influenced?

I was just today reading in the Bible 1 Timothy chapter 2. The chapter starts off this way: "I therefore exhort, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, offerings of thanks be made concerning all sorts of men. Concerning kings and all those who are in high station, in order that we may go on leading a calm and quiet life with full godly devotion and seriousness." This scriptural principle indicates that it is acceptable for a Christian to pray in behalf of government officials, particularly for them to establish good order and continue to allow freedom of worship.

How about this all: "Vote for who you believe has the most knowledge wisdom and forsight. I voted today.

Then let it go and realize the outcome will be God's decision, for whatever reason.... It usually works out that way anyway.
