Thread: Can jinns tell the future?

Do jinns know what will happen in the future or are they just like human and know nothing more? Are they more intuitive? No rude comments, it's a serious question.

And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors. And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him; And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.

They don't have an innate ability to forsee the future but they were able to go up to Heaven and listen in on conversations of matters that sometimes concern the future. However, they are no longer allowed to do so and any who try will be chased by a flaming fire. This information is from the Qur'an. So from this and other verses, we can see that while the jinn do have abilities like being able to quickly transport (ie. Prophet Solomon's jinn servants), to carry or build heavy things, being able to do many things very quickly, and are able to ascend close to Heaven (but are not able to cross a certain point), they cannot see the future and do not know all things. Therefore, they are not inituitive to that extent.

jinn dont have supernatural powers but they are among us and can turn into any form Allah allows them to turn into...like lizards, humans and more. we cant see them but they can see us. they're servants of Allah just as we are. there are good jinn, bad jinn, etc. and will be judged by Allah just as we will.

No they can't, some of them may be better at calculating the probability of things to come but to know of the future to the point of certainty not.
