I hear this from time to time. Something about the Bible has fulfilled prophecies and therefore is a credible source and/or reason enough to follow.

Please tell me WHAT fulfilled prophecies? Claiming something has been fulfilled does not make it factual.

Anyone have something and can actually BACK it up?

One of many is Psalm 22 fulfilled by Christ look all through Isaiah and ezekiel and you will find prophecy's that jesus unmistakably fulfilled. The Jewish captivity in Babylon was fulfilled. in fact if you take the time to check you will find that every prophecy that does not refer to the end of the world or the second coming of Christ has been fulfilled unmistakably.

I think you mean to say that the New Testament is the fullfilment of the prophecies in the Old Testament.

Let me tell you a little story. In Aboriginal superstition if someone points the bone at you, that means you are going to die. So you break one of the laws like " thou shalt do no work on the sabbath (or the other six days for that matter) and so the tribal witchdoctor points the bone at you. A week later someone goes walkabout and finds your body in the scrub. Now, because of your belief that you are doomed, you don't bother eating or drinking so a week later you are found dead.
Every body in the tribe says yes, it is true, there's the evidence, if somebody points the bone at you, you will die!
Exactly the same thing happens with Biblical prophesy. Those superstitious enough to believe in them (this includes the vast majority of Americans) will make them come true. You can see this happening now with the U.S. stirring up trouble and creating it's own enemies all over the worlds hot-spots.

Rev 16:12 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial on the great river Euphrates and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the East might be prepared.”

If you look it up online you will see that the Euphrates River has already dried up about halfway.
