Thread: Is this a bad sign for the future?

I've been dating a girl for a month on monday. We go to the same college but live 4 hrs apart when we aren't in school, like now for thanksgiving break. We haven't seen each other since tuesday morning and both tonight and last night I've started feeling really lonely and missing her a LOT, and she feels the same way. Next year we are both studying abroad in the fall but in different places. Is the fact that we're are missing each other so much after such a short amount of time a bad sign for our chances of staying together when we are in two different countries for an even longer amount of time or not?

i think that both of you may have genuine feelings for one another...

BUT, the timing is off, honestly.

keep doing things together (productive activities i mean) so you'd have great memories to look back when you get back together. i have some friends who have similar story like yours (yeah gone to different countries) but friendship has bound them together. some of them are already married and some of my friends are engaged and preparing for the wedding. some of the strongest true loves are started when still young.
