Atheists, what is your say about this prediction in Bible about Islam and their

general attitude..? Genesis 16 (11,12): And the angel also said, “You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means ‘God hears’), for the Lord has heard your cry of distress. This son of yours will be a wild man, as untamed as a wild donkey! He will raise his fist against everyone, and everyone will be against him. Yes, he will live in open hostility against all his relatives.”

Genesis 17 (20): As for Ishmael, I will bless him also, just as you have asked. I will make him extremely fruitful and multiply his descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.

And the Bible also says that Hagar took her son to wilderness (Desert) and found water in there, which is located still in Saudi Arabia. As God promised, he made them a great nation surely the second largest religion on earth after Christianity. As you know, Muslims are all located in and around deserts. The promise of God was taken away from Jews and was given to those who believe in his son Jesus Christ. Muslims also believe in Christ though in a different way.

Having such undeniable facts prevailing, how can you people be so ignorant to live a God-less life?

Are you aware how prophecies work? It's a very vague description of a vague event. Throw enough shit against the wall, and something will stick.

And this doesn't sound anything like Islam. 12 princes? Islam a great nation? Hardly.

Are you aware that Arabs are the minority within Islam? Fewer than 15% of Muslims are Arabs and no, they don't all live in or around deserts. You seem to think that "Arab" and "Muslim" are synonyms.

Picky point- Muslims are not all located in and around deserts. India/Pakistan, Indonesia, many African countries. And the USA.

As others have pointed out, Christians have the same attitude. And Israelis.

As for this "stunning evidence of prophecy", I think it is much the same as any other prophecy. "There will be turmoil in the Middle East. There may be sand involved."

Consider the prophecies given by Jesus The Christ Himself, that the Son Of Man would return with all the angels of Heaven, to end the world and bring Judgement Day, within the lifetime of those standing there hearing him speak. It didn't happen, which makes Jesus a false prophet.

The natural Universe is vast and wondrous, and more than enough. "We have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."

I hate to break it to you but the bible is not the inspired word of God.
It was written by a bunch of desert baked primitive nomads who ate bugs and honey.
    Of course they saw God!

FSTDT: To say the Bible was written by men and may contain inaccuracies completely contradicts the word of the Bible.

okay, for the last frikin time!

-these are just quotes from a book, they have no proof and make no sense.

-we aren't ignorant, you're ignorant, we've read the bible and learned about so many more things, we're atheist because of it!
