Thread: atheist, dawkins who ever. theory to prediction?

theory= gratual evolution from ape to man. do you guys have a prediction of what creature are to come or become from more evolution by looking at the change in d.n.a. e.g man with horns to defend against predators or can he just protect him self from stick,sword,gun?

That is not exactly how prediction works for evolution.

What actually happens, is that two or more fossils are found, and someone says, "They are part of a sequence", that is one evolved from the other,

If that is claim is correct, then there should be intermediary fossils that have characteristics of the fossil before it, and the one after it.

And that is the prediction.

Paleontologists then go looking for fossils that fit the prediction.

They start in their own archives, and if nothing is found there, they go out into the field.

If the prediction is good, they will, hopefully, find the predicted fossil.

But sometimes, what they find is even more interesting. They find fossils that are clearly evolved from the earlier fossil, but in no way resemble the later one.

What the prediction will not do, is tell you what to expect, a million years from now.

As for man, it ain't really that gradual.

However, it is more DNA evidence than fossil evidence, although there is fossil evidence for a steadly growing brain.

The biggest problem, to my mind, is deciding which fossils are fore bears, and which are dead ends, because there are just so many.

Man was evolving nicely towards intelligence, but I fear that his inventions may well have had a redarding effect on that, at least for the time being, and one, may well be having a reversing effect, evolving AWAY from intelligence.

its called the THEORY of evolution not the fact of evolution..so basically its a whole load of rubbish with no proof..the 'PROOF' they have has all been proven to be a sham, a total fake set up to make people believe that this stupid evolution theory is real.

its just another trick to move people away from religion and into atheism..coz the basis of the theory of evolution is that everything came about by chance...and anyone with even 1 working brain cell should look around and know that this universe did NOT come about by chance...its not rocket science..just common sense really.
