Unusual dream with fox, wolf, and dogs.?

Ok first time I did this so please bear with me.
I had dream I was in the woods, not sure how I got there.
Well I was looking up a hill and it appeared a fox was running down the hill. Kinda seemed like he was running from something. Well the fox flew at me, not sure if it was attacking me or not. But I threw him down on the lower side of hill. A pack of wolves started attacking the fox, more specifically I think two.
They were pulling him in separate ways. Well I had some sort of rifle or staff.. Idk I hit it to the ground and a loud bang went off. The wolves were scared off. I went to get the fox that was tore up. I looked to my left from where the incident had happened and seen some pit bull dogs who seemed friends with the wolves.

Does this mean anything?
