2012 is just when the Mayan calendar ended. Everything you've heard about it being the end of the world is just a bunch of BS being spread by the same people who said the year 2000 would be the end of the world. On December 22, 2012, those same people will come up with a new end of times date.

12/12/2012 was the last day of the Mayian calendar.

Many think that they knew the end of the world and that is the day.

The only thing remotely scientific about it is that it's the year after 2011.

The rest is bullshit.

this is a mayan prophecy NOT a bible prophecy.

mayan calendar shows that 21.12. 2012, there will be a big catastrophe.
so people are putting 2 and 2 together and trying to fit the biblical puzzle.

i don't use the mayan calendar as a signal.
i use the bible ... strictly the bible.
when jerusalem is surrounded by armies, The Antichrist appears = beginning of the end = the last 7 years of this earth.

I don't think there is anything written about 2012 (just a bunch of hoopla), it has more to do with the Mayan calendar ending around that time.
