Why the double throttle cables on my Harley?
How ya' doin'? I have a 1986 "Liberty Edition" Low Rider. One of the throttle cables broke due to old age. It looks like the bike will work just fine with the one cable I have left. It is the one that pulls the throttle mechanism on the carburetor open. Why do I need the other one? By the way, I have had an S&S Super E carb put on. It looks like they used the same cables maybe just modified the carb end a little. And, does anyone know where to find a pair of replacements cheap (inexpensive I mean)
