Why don't the mufflers on Harley's work?
Are Harley's decades behind the rice rockets just like autos in design, value and reliabilty?

Rice bike = speed and stealth

HD = speed, rumble and roar

It is a preference, HDs can be made to be quiet, most HD riders don't want that.

why buy a HD if your going to keep it quite. my dad had HD pipes at the house before we even went to go pick it up. its best to let the engine breath. LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES

What to you mean they don't work, they're not carrying the exhaust adding some back pressure, what?

most Harley's don't have mufflers..... just straight pipes.
