Thread: What do Vets think about the war in Iraq, and politics in general? I

value your opinion...and vet affaris? My dad served in Vietnam and he said he used guns enough in his life and does not want to have anything more to do with them. You have a unique and important voice as you first hand put your lives on the line.

When should we put soldiers in harms way?
What should America provide vets after their return?

A soldier's duty isn't to question the mission, but his efforts.

As a vet and voter, I hold the interests of those who have died and those have served as paramount. I look at the candidates and judge them not on their opinion on their war, but how they support a mission in progress and the commanders conducting that mission.

Politics will always be intertwined with war and that's not always a bad thing. The current war is the right thing for the wrong reason.

Veterans Affairs, by and large, are improving. I do believe that America has a responsibility to its veterans and families.
