Philippine democracy and government NOW and in the 70's and 80's?
How do you think the political events (with the Marcos administration, the EDSA revolution, martial law, political career and ideologies of Ninoy Aquino, etc) in the Philippines during the 70's and 80's have affected the country's present democratic government today and how has the context of this past government shaped the country, especially within the youth of today?
Thought it'd be interesting to hear other's thoughts on this topic, considering the recent death of Cory Aquino and how this subject has become stronger and alive again.
