The problem is, you never hear about that, because it is boring and not newsworthy. You only hear about the very few instances where the taser is used.
I don't know what you consider "misuse", but I can tell you every single video I've seen starts out with some argumentative subject who ignores the police when they give a lawful order.
I also do not see where you consider the BC instance "excessive force". The Polish man was yelling, throwing chairs, and causing a disturbance. You can not blame the RCMP for the language barrier. All they were doing was to try and restore order. It is a shame that he died, however, I suspect when the autopsy comes out, you will see he had some medical condition that was complicated by the tantrum he threw.
