due to the now occasional shooting events in schools all over the states
i was wondering what was the government doing about it, and it turns out that not much. i came across this
law article that summarizes the thoughts of a person about this and the act the government has been taking to deal with the situation and it turns out (although a little outdated but i couldnt find anything newer) that this "safe zones" school act just puts a big sign to any renegade kid or criminal that says: come on in and shoot we are defenceless.
so what should be done about it? i myself think that the teachers should carry guns to protect the kids but only after carefull screening and process. and if no such teacher is to be found then there should be a police presence at all times during the school hours.
