anyone else to sleep? Honestly, whenever I hear McCain speak, I start dozing off (zzzzzzzz...). When you look at the past several years, it seems like the most visionary, inspiring, and energetic personality always wins: Bush vs Kerry, Bush vs Gore, Bill Clinton vs Dole (well Bill versus anybody), Ronald Reagan, etc. Personality and charm seem to count huge. And Hilary Clinton attacking Obama only makes her look petty (Change you can xerox? A 5th grader can do better). So if it comes down to Obama and McCain, how will McCain match up?

You're exactly right which is why Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States.

Oh, you asked a question in that "Insult, chatting, rant" ?

My answer after I reported you for abuse is: Only time will tell.

Unfortunately for many voters it is all about personality instead of wisdom, knowledge, ideas, voting record, etc.

Of course it is possible for a president to be both charismatic and wise, but between the two I would take wisdom and knowledge over charisma any day.

I don't care if the candidate has a dynamic personality. I want someone who can run the country in a responsible way for the good of all Americans.

The worst thing McCain can do is try to be something he is not. He should not try to have this big exciting personality because it will come across as fake. McCain should just be himself and intelligently discuss the issues and his plans or ideas. He stands a better chance by doing this then by trying to be something he is not.

Obama needs to be as specific as possible because he has been criticized for being all flash and no substance so he has to counter act that criticism with some plans and ideas.

Clinton needs to lay out her plans and ideas and convince the American public that she is ready to lead and why she would make a better president than Obama. Also, she needs to be careful in the way she criticizes Obama because his supporters seem to be mesmerized by him and will get defensive about any criticism of him. She should focus on contrasting her plans with his and show how she has a better command of the issues than he does.

May the best man or woman win.

I believe McCain when he says he will keep the troops dying in Iraq.
I fear him when the clams up to reportes over the loggyist-diddleing charege and refuses to talk. What will he do when war deaths hit 6000 and 100,000 wounded.

VOTe HILLARY.

Its really tough to say what you are trying to imply about personalities and the end result since you already stated as fact your bias about all the people
ok, i'll give you the answer you want...since its about personality, obama will annihilate mccain....

10 pts please

I agree with Goochie. Hillary won't win though. She needs Texas and Ohio in the primary and I don't think she will get it. The fact of the matter is that she did some shitty shit to get elected in NY. She bad mouthed the NYFD and NYPD to get the minorities to vote for her. Then 9-11 happened and she was 'behind' the men and women but at a rally for NYFD and NYPD she was booed off stage.

Obama seems to be the best choice in my opinion. I was thinking about McCain but since George Bush, former president, is backing him, McCain has let up his attack against Dubbyah. I don't feel that McCain would change anything that was put into place the past 8 years. Bush really screwed up and people were dumb enough to vote for him a second time. (I will allow the first mistake since it's very difficult to tell how a person will be)
