Do anonymous police reports in Chicago contain the phone # of the person who
made the report? I ask because I recently made just such a report, and am now being harassed by those who were apparently the perpetrators of the crime I called in. I am wondering if they got my number from the incident report, or some other document.
I have never met these people, before now did not even know they existed, and certainly had no idea they were the criminals until they started calling me. What I wonder, is how they got my number? All I did was call the non-emergency line of the Chicago PD and say that I heard a ruckus.
