About a month ago we had to give my dogs to my brother to stay at his place for about a year because our new apartment wouldn't allow dogs. Would my dogs still remember who I was if they saw me a year later? Also I'm just curious 10 years later?

Im sure a year later they would remember you, the dynamic would just have shifted. When I was 9yrs old my dog(who was 2)went missing& never came back, we moved but 7 years later I was walking through my old neighbourhood&saw him on the street! He was a very distinctive dog due to an accident he'd had. He didnt really take any notice of me but, i called his name(obviously the old one id given him)&he stopped dead&just stared at me then proceeded to follow me down the street. He eventually went off but, i really wanted him back! I didnt take him though, i wouldnt want anyone to go through the upset of losing a beloved pet even though he was mine in the first place!
yes.dogs have very good memories
definatly a month later, without a doubt
yes definatly. We are looking after my brothers dog and have been doing so since March. He will definatly remember my brother. Also i have a smooth collie who we got when she was 6 months. Whenever we see the breeders at shows she gets really excited and bouncy and just wants to cuddle them.
10yrs - yea im pretty sure dogs will still remember
i do think the dog would remeber you if you left for an year but ten i think is to much for a dog
