Why is my dog only humping me?

Okay...My daughter recently got a pound puppy but found her difficult due to her bing timid and piddling all the time. I took her puppy in and the dog just flourished in our home. The puppy is approx. 5-6 months old and has been fixed. She has just been to the vet and got a clean bill of health.

She is drawn to me...I'm mom in the house and quite dominant; however, she has on two occasions hump my leg. I've always heard that it's a dominating behavior so I take a dominant stance and tell her no. She stops and I praise her. She does not do this to our other dogs or other people in the home...only me.

Is there another reason besides dominance why a female puppy would do this?
