Thread: Why do people think animals are more important than people?

Everytime I come on this site or at school there are fliers that advertise saving poor little puppys "In need of a home" or advertising for "endangered animals" I mean I know yeah animals and things need a little help but there are people on this Earth that need tons of help, people are way way WAY more valuable than any little kitten or bird or puppy, etc.

You see someone kills an animal in self defense and all hell breaks loose with people who value animals more than people.

If you read the Bible animals dont have souls PEOPLE have souls.

Studies show that they have only detected thoughts in the human brain and not in any other being, so why do we go "AWWW THE POOR CUTE LITTLE ANIMAL IS BLIND IM GOING TO CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP!" when there are CHILDREN dieing from aids in Africa and people in house fires and so much more?

There not i would treat them both "=" B/c They Both Have Feelings An Both Need Others Help...
