In the event that a Puppy Mill is discovered and closed down, what should happen with the puppies who will undoubtedly have countless illnesses and diseases, should they be given a chance at re homing, bearing in mind how overrun shelters and humane societies already are? Or would it be better for the pup to be put down?

Same question for the parent dogs who will most likely be aggressive or overly shy due to the lack of social interaction over the years and the b*tches who would have suffered with many pregnancies over their short lives so far.

I know every animal deserves a chance at some sort of 'normal' life but for those in these situations where they have suffered enough and known nothing but this life possibly making it difficult for them to adjust to any other kind of life, would it simply be kinder to humanely euthanize them?

I am by no means suggesting these are my personal opinions, I would just like to know other peoples views on these situations.
