What is the maximum Rabbit Gestation Period?
My female rabbit was out in the garden 34 days ago and my male rabbit escaped his cage and joined her. Now, being rabbits, they 99.9% of a chance got together. Today is the 34th day of the gestation period and nothing has happened. She has made a little nest about 3 days ago, but each morning when i check her, it's either moved or flattened, then matbe created later. I know the gestation period is 28-35 days, but can it exceed from 35 days? Like can she give birth on say...the 37th day? Has anyone's rabbit done that? Thanks.
