What is the gestation period of danios?

I have 3 golden danios, 2 zebra danios and 1 leopard danios and 2 of them look pregnant as they have large stomachs and a small black dot at the back of their stomachs

I read from several accounts that danios' gestation period is approximately 3 weeks but all of these people were posting what they had read on another forum and I haven't been able to find the original article/link. So I'm guessing that the gestation period is about three weeks, give or take.

The black dot at the back of their stomachs indicates the pregnancy. After the eggs are laid then fertilized by the male, they will hatch in approximately 48 hours. Several people recommended putting the pregnant females in a separate tank with the male(s) and in that tank, to have marbles instead of gravel so the eggs can fall through the marbles, to the bottom and not get eaten by the fish in the tank. Then move the adult fish back to their home tank after the eggs are laid and that tank (the one the eggs were laid in) would be your "fry tank".

    Hope this helps.
