what could be wrong with my juvenile igunana? vets have no idea!!?

well he is a rescue. i rescued him with missing toes and necrotic tail tip (which the vet diagnosed but knows nothing about) he also has these weird, dry, flake, pale, yellow patches of skin around his vent and his upper thighs. the vets have no idea what it could be but they gave me nolvasan bath solution and an antibacterial cream. when i put the cream on his trashes and tries to bite so maybe it hurts him. so my questions are 1) tell me anything you know about necrotic tail tip because the vets don't know and i can't find any research on it and 2) what could the yellow, flakey patches of skin be. He is eating well and acts like a normal iguana except for this skin condition.
