he hasn't been the same lately; he is 16, but he's been really healthy and i don't know what's wrong. Lately, he has been walking with his hind legs almost all the way to the ground and his tail between his legs. He never sleeps in his dog house anymore, always out in the cold on the carpet. Anyone think they know what's happening to him? Please?

Sounds like arthritis or hip problems. Have him checked out by the vet. If he's in pain all the time from this, it may be time to let him go sadly
